December - Part II

December

So I know I haven't updated the blog in a long time. I could blame it on having five different Christmas dinners to go to during the month of December. Or I could blame it on a certain 5 month old baby, keeping busy at work, or all the countless projects we've been taking on at home (the biggest one being a new garage!!!) So I guess I will crunch a month's worth of pictures into one post... Christmas pictures first and then random ones taken over the past month.

We discovered on Christmas Eve that Ava could open her own presents. We saw her reaching toward them when she was on the floor, so we decided to set one in her lap to see what she would do. She got so excited, started flapping her arms up and down, grabbed the paper and started to slowly tear it. It took twenty minutes to open one gift, but it was A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!

Both uncles were pretty excited to see Baby Ava, but I do have to say that one in particular was super excited to spend time with their niece during Christmas.

Big Sis always seems to be able to make Ava laugh. She recently discovered peek-a-boo, which makes Ava shriek with laughter! SO CUTE!!

Ava got to snuggle with Grandma for awhile the day after Christmas.

Matt's theme for Ava's gifts this year was lights and noise. This phone kept Ava's attention for awhile, and then she decided she wanted to chew on it.

Ava got to enjoy a nap, courtesy of Great Uncle Kim. What a nice soft resting place!
