Ava got a jumper for Christmas from Uncle Blake and Aunt Jennie. It has been at my parent's house since they got back from Wyoming, and so we just got it put together a few nights ago. Ava was sitting on Craig's lap while I was working on getting it set up. She was frantically rocking back and forth, staring at her new toy. Obviously she didn't know what it was, but it was colorful, exciting and new to her. Once she finally got to sit in it, she was so happy. Her little tiny toes just barely touched the floor!
At first, she just sat in it looking at all the colorful toys surrounding her. This morning however, she learned just what this toy was all about. I decided to put her in the jumper while I was getting ready for work this morning. All the sudden I heard some really loud noises coming from the living room like plastic hitting against plastic. I came around the corner to find Ava jumping up and down with a huge smile on her face. She had it figured out and it was FUN!
She played in this toy for 45 minutes this morning - even cried when I took her out to hold her (and Ava LOVES to be held!!) After awhile I noticed it had gotten really quiet, so I turned around and there was my baby, completely zonked. THANK YOU Blake and Jennie... we LOVE our new toy!!
