Pumpkin Fight
Tuesday night was pumpkin carving night. We laid tablecloths down so Ava could play in the mess on the floor. Ava was a little uncertain at first and wouldn't touch anything. She eventually warmed up to the idea of getting messy.
Normally Craig is a very neat and tidy person who doesn't like the house to be a mess. I was surprised when this same man threw pumpkin goo at Morgan (of course Morgan threw it back). And that's how it started.
I sat and watched this, minding my own business. I thought I was going to escape without getting messy...
Boy, I was SOOO wrong! I think I got it worst of all!! We did end up with some pretty good looking pumpkins in the end though.

One Picture at a Time
So I haven't posted any pictures for a very long time (7 months to be exact). Ava has changed so much over that time. She is walking, almost running, she can saw a few words (uh-oh, thank you, bye, and ball... oh yea and "dada"), and she has beautiful blonde hair! She is so much fun, and is usually pretty happy. Mom and I have been discussing how much trouble she's going to be when she's 2 as she already has loads of attitude. This is a very scary thought. When she is 2 we will have another little Davis baby that will be about 3-4 months old. Yes for those of you who don't know, we are having another baby due mid-April. YIKES!
Another big change (big, but good) has been Morgan moving in with us. She has been here since August and is going to St. Edward catholic school. It took a while to get used to the school uniforms, but I think she's getting over this. She actually admitted to liking the skirt she sometimes wears. She is just wrapping up with volleyball and is wanting to join the swim team this winter. Here is a picture of her first day of 8th grade.
So, my plan is to post at least one picture a week. This way I can try to keep everyone updated on our family. We will see how well this goes!!
